Bio

Jeanette Schneider Mazoch of El Campo died June 21, 2025 at the age of 95. She was born May 2, 1930 in Nada to Charles Sr. and Bertha Swoboda Schneider. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Christian Mothers, the Altar Society at both Hillje and Frelsburg, and the Home Extension Club. She loved doing for others whether it was driving the bus for the handicapped children in Louisiana, volunteering at the Second Time Around Resale Shop in El Campo, or serving at many funeral receptions in Hillje. Besides her love for her family, Jeanette also loved planting and tending to her flowers. She is survived by her daughters Susie Korenek and husband Dennis of Nada, and Pam Gravette and husband Keith of Nashville; sons Roch Mazoch of El Campo, Paul Mazoch of Philadelphia, Perry Mazoch and wife Paula of El Campo, and Scott Mazoch and wife Alison of East Bernard; and daughter in law Galynn Mazoch of Blessing; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons Alfonce "Peanut" Mazoch, Jr., and Gary Mazoch; sisters Lorene Bubela and Dorothy Mayo; and brothers Charles Jr., Tony, Ed Lee, and Leon Schneider. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with a Rosary 9:30 a.m. The funeral Mass will follow at the church in 10 a.m. with the Rev. Collins Yaw Twum. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nada. Donations in memory of Jeanette Mazoch may be made to St. Mary's Church or Garwood Vol. Fire Dept.
