Bio
Patricia Ann Ready, 84, of Hurley, MS passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born April 29, 1941 in Pascagoula, MS to the late Walter and Minnie Lee Roberts. She was a long-time member of Orange Grove Baptist Church and a current member of Hurley Baptist Church. She worked as Cafeteria Manager at Magnolia Junior High School in Moss Point. Patricia will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm "Mack" Ready; brothers, Luther Earl Roberts and Donald Ray Roberts; and sister-in-law, Susan Yates. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Malcolm Ray Ready and Alisha Marie Ready Gentry; grandchildren, Jacob & Katherine Gentry, Zachary Gentry, Nicole Gentry, and Neil & Kristy Ippolito; great-grandchildren, Gunner, Gavin, Grayci, Flora, Jasper, and Rosemary; brother, Walter Lee (Caroline) Roberts; along with many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at noon in the funeral home chapel. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated in Moss Point/Escatawpa, MS, is honored to serve the family of Patricia Ann Ready.
