Caroline married Johann Dietrich Ferdinand Rosenberg who was born 17 May 1812 in Dohlbergen, Verden, Lower Saxony, son of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Rosenberg and Anne Marie Sophie Dolle or Dolling. He was a musician by trade and part of the Roma Sinti families of Germany. Caroline's father was Johann "Caspar" Böhmer (Beemer) and mother, Rosesita Caroline Wappler. Among other things concerning the emigration Hunteburg lists the members of the 1839 emigrating families as follows: Caspar Böhmer's family consists of 10 people, including Ferdinand Rosenberg, namely daughter Caroline with two children, 2 and 1 year old, son Carl, 20 years, daughter Regine, 18 years, Magdalene, 14, Anton, 12, and Ludewig, 10 years old. Ferdinand Tewitz, including himself, has a family of 9 heads, and these are the children: Johanne Tewitz, 33 years, Friederike, 18, Margarethe, 14, Ludewig, 12, Heinrich, 10, Dorette, 10, Johann, 4, and Fritz, 2 years of age.
