Nancy Caroline [Donnell] Tiller born October 14, 1842 died November 12, 1869 Polk County MO, daughter of John Marcellous and Jane[McClain]Donnell. She married Thomas Henry Tiller Jr April 26, 1860. To this union five children were born:Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, William Clay, Horace Greely and Carolyn "Carrie" [Tiller]Shockley. Nancy's Paternal grandparents were:James M. and Louisa E.[Maxwell[Donnell. She had eleven siblings:James Monroe,Mary Ann Kepley,George Washington,William Maxwell,Margarett Winsett,Robert D, John Martin,Frances Jane Harkness,Sarah Clementine Armstrong,Columbus Williamson and Francis Marion Donnell. Union Grove Cemetery is about 2 miles south of Tin Town Take Hwy. 65 to Fair Grove's caution light, turn left and then immediately turn right. Go north until pavement ends. Next to Union Grove Church, northeast corner, 7th row stone #11 next to her sisters and Donnell family. Nancy is buried between her sister Sarah Armstrong and Sarah's husband James. Directions to Cemetery from Pleasant Hope: North on 13 Hwy to Pleasant Hope turn right (east) on 215 through town about 4 miles to Tin Town, turn right (south) on Hwy 244 go 3 miles pull around to entrance at church go through gate to the right (northeast side) to 7th row, 11th stone.
