Jane McLane/McClain was the first wife of John Marccellous Donnell. They had 12 children together : James Monroe Donnell 1829 – 1903 Mary Ann Donnell 1830 – 1863 George Washington Donnell 1831 – 1903 William Maxwell Donnell 1833 – 1907, Margaret R "Marie" Donnell 1836 – 1907 Robert D Donnell 1836 – ?, John Martin Donnell 1838 – 1840, Frances Jane Donnell 1841 – 1869, Nancy Caroline Donnell 1842 – 1869, Sarah Clementine Donnell 1844 – 1924, Columbus Williamson Donnell 1845 – 1918, Francis Marion Donnell 1st 1846 – 1918, Her youngest, Francis Marion Donnell, was born in December 1846. After her death, John Marcellous Donnell married Jane Wills in March of 1848. The year of death on her headstone is not clear, only Nov 184_ is readable. But I believe it would have to be 1847 because of the other dates mentioned above. If anyone has any addition information please let me know in message here or send me an email. Thanks for any help!
