Services for Mrs. Porter 2 pm Wednesday Mrs. Magnolia Porter, 83 of Melissa, died Monday in a Waco nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Turrentine - Jackson funeral chapel with burial at Cottage Hill. She was born in Tennessee, Feb. 15, 1885, the daughter of John Patrick and Mary Brimer. Surviving are three sone, Glenn Porter of Lewisville and George Porter of McKinney; four daughter, Mrs. B. R. Norris of Irving, Mrs. Everett Hines, Mrs. H. B. Thompson Sr. and Mrs. Andy Rogers of McKinney and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Melissa Methodist church.
