Doris Faye Brown, 81, of Lincoln, NE, passed away on April 20, 2025. She was born on April 16, 1944, in Scotia, NE, to Floyd and Elsie (Fillinger) Vance. She worked as an administrative assistant for National Bank of Commerce and Cardinal Management. Doris was a big sports fan supporting the Malcolm Clippers, the Lakers (specifically LeBron), and the Cornhuskers. She was an avid Nebraska Volleyball fan, holding season tickets. She also loved spending time with her family and cross stitching. She is survived by her husband Dennis; daughter Julie (Mike) Dansky; grandchildren Derrick (Sara) Wiebe, Allison (Mark) Bosco; great grandchildren Carter Wiebe, Kinslee Wiebe, and Silas Bosco. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Darrel Vance. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday April 25, 2025, at Malcolm United Methodist Church, 520 Malcolm Rd, Malcolm, NE 68402.
