He was the son of John S Ramsey from Tennessee and Eliza Jane Kizer from Louisiana He married Nannie D Monk on the 10th of August 1891 in Franklin County and lived most of his life in Gilmer, Texas. His wife preceded him in death in 1929 in Harrison County while visiting son John Ramsey Beaumont It is not known if he is buried here but some of his family is Texas, U S Death Index, 1903 - 2000 Certificate 30820
