Statesman Journal (Salem, Oregon) December 27, 1993 Anna P Bazant July 21, 1900 - Dec 25, 1993 Albany - Anna P Bazant, 93, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday in the Mennonite Home. She was born and raised in Ord, Neb. In 1938 she moved to Oregon, settling on a farm in the Lebanon area. In July 1920 she married Albert Bazant in Ord; he died on Oct 1, 1977. She worked for US Plywood in Lebanon from 1942 to 1962. In 1944 she moved into town from the farm. She settled in the Mennonite Home in Albany in 1983. Survivors include her son, Lloyd of Albany; daughters, Pauline Dobrkovsky of Albany, and Ruth Goodrich of Lebanon; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visiting will be from 5 to 8 pm today and 9 am to noon Tuesday in the Huston mortuary. Memorial services will begin at 10:30 am Tuesday in the Mennonite Home chapter. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 pm in Lebanon's IOOF Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of choice in care of the mortuary.
