Bio
Helen Louise Creel, 71, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Houma, died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her husband, Franklin Hardie Creel; two sons, Hardie Creel of Houma and Kevin P. Creel and wife, Liana, of Miami; one daughter, Mrs. William (Elvire) Nutter of Houma; one brother, Jannard P. Porche; four sisters, Henrietta Leonard of Thibodaux, Pearl Kappel, Dorothy Fischer and Hazel Boudreaux, all of Houma; and four grandchildren, Ben J. Nutter, Robert T. Nutter and wife, Kandy, and Joshua and Jacob K. Creel. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elvire LeBoeuf Porche; two brothers, Horace and James P.
