Tammy Kay Foster, 61, resident of Danbury, Texas, joyfully met Jesus face to face on September 26, 2023. Tammy was born on October 11, 1961, in Houston, TX to Alvin M. and Nola M. Langston. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Bennie Langston and brother Hal Langston. She is survive by her husband Pat Foster of Danbury, her son Donald Foster, brother Mike Langston and lots of family full of special nieces, nephews, and cousins. In her younger years, Tammy spent time in Houston and in Palestine, Texas. She later attended college where she graduated first in her class as a Medical Assistant, an accomplishment she worked hard for and was very proud of. Tammy was always involved in a variety of activities and welcomed new adventures! Her greatest adventure began when she married the love of her life, Pat! Not only did she marry him, but she married into a family of 7 brothers and their wives who she loved dearly. Aside from her jobs in the medical field, she spent lots of time working with and bringing joy to children in daycare. Tammy was an active member of Community Baptist Church in Danbury and her faith in Christ was her priority. She loved the Lord with all her heart and her life reflected it well. She hosted Bible Studies in her home and fed lots of folks around her table. She was an amazing wife and loved being Donald's mother. She took great pleasure in "assigning tasks" to Pat and Donald who always gave her a hard time about. They both knew better than to tell her no. This sweet lady enjoyed life to the fullest and invested her time in her family and her friends. For those that knew her, she was a true fighter, a mighty little package. She battled many issues with her body over the past few years, but she never lost faith that God was in control and there was a reason for everything. Even with her health failing, she would experience many miracles when God would pick her up and give her the strength to battle on. Special friends were by her side to help her through those difficult days and kept her encouraged. Tammy trusted God and was grateful for every day He gave her. Even though she was small, she will leave a huge void to all those who knew her and loved her. She will be missed deeply. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sat., October 7, 2023, from 10:00-11:00am at Community Baptist Church, 6114 5th St. in Danbury, TX.
