Willie Mahoney Goodwin March 4, 1952 ~ March 26, 2025 (age 73) Willie Mahoney Goodwin, 73, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. Mrs. Goodwin was born March 4, 1952 in Houston, Texas, was a resident of Hamburg for the past two years and a former resident of Dallas, Texas for many years. She graduated high school in DeSoto, Texas in 1970 and continued her education at the Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas and received her Licensed Practical Nurse degree. Mrs. Goodwin worked as a nurse for the VA Hospital in Dallas, Texas, having retired in 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, William C. "Billy" Goodwin in 2010; a grandson, Kyle Goodwin; her parents, Mack Mahoney, Sr. and Vera Williams Moore; her grandmother, who raised her since she was three years old, Sally Price Mahoney Franklin and a brother, Mack Mahoney, Jr. She is survived by her significant other, Bennie Jordan of Hamburg; two sons, Corey Goodwin of Henderson, Texas and Kelly Goodwin and his wife, Gail, of Winnsboro, Texas; a daughter, Shelley McKeever and her husband, Glenn, of Waxahachie, Texas; two brothers, Roger Mahoney and Curtis Mahoney; a sister, Darla Mahoney and five grandchildren, Amber Joiner, Erica Guajardo, Kacy Brown, Robyn Willoughby and Racheal Watts.
