Bio
Lyzetta Mantooth, 90, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on November 12, 2022. She entered this world on January 9, 1932 in Muskogee, OK, born to Phelix and Willie Greenhaw Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Murlin "Mutt" R. Mantooth; brothers Vetis Davis & Ernest Davis; sister Hazel Mantooth; daughters Darlene Mantooth & Melva Mantooth. She is survived by her son Phelix Shaw & wife Vickie; daughters Donna Whittington & husband Jimmy, Pamela Dobbs & husband Tommy; ten grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren as well as numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lyzetta retired after an extended career with the H-E-B Grapevine and Athens School Districts. She loved to crochet and, according to her family, she was the "best homemade bisquit maker in history". Visitation and service starting at 1:00 PM, Wednesday November 16,2022 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Chapel Seven Points, Texas with burial to follow at Trinidad Cemetery.
