Margaret L. "Margy" (Henggeler) Dawson age 92 of Lincoln, passed away March 9, 2025. She was born in 1932 on a farm in Cornlea, NE to Peter and Mary (Dischner) Henggeler. Margy was the seventh of eight children. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Lincoln, NE. Margy married Harold J. "Jack" Dawson, Jr. on August 9, 1952. They had five children. Along with caring for her family, she was a customer service representative at Miller & Paine department store and Bradfield Drug Store. She was a secretary at the Nebraska Department of Roads and the State Department of Education. Margy was a member of the Cathedral Altar Society, volunteered with the Pink Sisters, and was a member of the St. Teresa, Cathedral of the Risen Christ, and St. Joseph Catholic parishes. Margy and Jack were married for 70 years. Jack entered eternal rest in 2022. SURVIVED BY: Three daughters and one son: Shannon Dawson and husband Clemens Hrouda, Diane Reinsch and husband John, Brian Dawson and wife Cathy, Stephanie Morrison and husband Scot, 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, sister Helen Witt, sisters-in-law Betty Steider Gish and Mary Dawson Keating, many nieces and nephews.
