Bio
Judy Blakeney Presley, age 75, passed away at her home on December 30, 2016. Judy was born in Malakoff Texas on August 13, 1941 to Pearl and Jim Blakeney. She graduated from Malakoff High School and attended Henderson County Junior College. She moved to Dallas and raised a family. She retired from South Western Bell after 30 years. She enjoyed traveling and RVing and seeing all the beauty that God created. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Judy loved refurbishing old things and doing puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Brent Presley. Survivors include her daughters, Alynda Gomez of Mesquite, Tracy Presley of Dallas, and Anna Crawford of Kaufman; her brothers, Jimmy Blakeney of Malakoff and Jerry Blakeney of Fate; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens. Funeral service will be Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Carroll-Lehr Funeral home.
