Jamie was born to Kenneth and Wilma Dick and grew up in Henderson, where he had an intense passion for loving life and living it to its fullest. Even as young as a preschooler, Jamie owned the town and rode his three-wheeler all over visiting friends and family. He loved sports and spent his childhood and high school years entertaining the crowds with his athletic skills in football, basketball and track. His talents earned him a scholarship to Chadron State College where he led the team in his favorite #12 as their quarterback. As an avid fan, you would also often find him sporting Minnesota Vikings and University of North Carolina Tar Heels gear. After college, Jamie lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked as a stockbroker for Edward Jones. Jamie exuded charisma and could change the dynamic of a room simply by walking into it. He had a magnetic personality and his passion for life spilled over to those that surrounded him. While in Vegas, Jamie experienced the greatest joys in his life in the births of his daughters, Natalia and Elsa Dick. He was immensely proud of them and loved them very much. Jamie was a thrill seeker. He enjoyed extreme sports such as sky diving, bungee jumping and driving fast cars. He also loved riding Harley's with his brother. He embraced every moment with boundless enthusiasm, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. Always ready for an adventure, he filled each day with laughter, passion, and a spirit that inspired others to live life to the fullest. He had a gift for connecting with others, always had a magnetic smile for everyone, and loved being surrounded by people.
