She was looking forward to continuing to explore her learning and passion around the arts. Her passion soon changed to her family, where her love for cinematography continued and she became a great movie buff. She passed her love for movies to her children and grandchildren. She loved sharing her passions with her grandchildren teaching them about the arts, photography and gems. She was a world of knowledge and enjoyed sharing her extensive movie collection which she had meticulously categorized with her own star ratings. She and her late husband, Bill, had a of passion for photography. They had a few business ventures including photography and starting and running a barbeque restaurant. Pat made all the cakes and pies, which had a devoted following by their customers. Pat's intellectual curiosity and work ethic paved the way for her successful career. She spent many fulfilling years as a legal assistant and a paralegal in both Corporate and Family law. During her time in family law, she was blessed to work with long-time childhood friend the late Jessie Carillo and then with Sarah Brandon, who became a forever friend. Her attention to detail and compassionate nature were highly valued in those environments. Pat also found joy in working at a floral shop, where her creativity and love for beauty brightened the lives of others. Outside of her professional life, Pat's interests were varied and rich. She was an ardent collector of dolls, often attending doll shops where she shared her passion with fellow enthusiasts. Her doll collection was not just a hobby but a tapestry of stories and memories she cherished deeply. Pat also had an eye for jewelry, finding delight in the sparkle and artistry of each piece. Her joy of sharing and giving of treasure she found were just part of her loving character that endeared her to others. Above all, Pat's greatest joy was found in the laughter and love of her grandchildren, whom she adored more than anything. Nana as she was known to her grandkids, knew of her love for them as they were always reminded with her sayings/singing of "I love you to the moon and stars and back' or "I love you a bushel and peck and a hug around the neck' or the end of phone call battles of 'who loves whom more' When not spending time with the grandkids, Pat and Wayne, enjoyed taking day-trips and long car trips to experience different parts of the country. Her friends were a source of constant pleasure and support, and she nurtured these relationships with the same care and dedication she gave to her family. Pat's home was always filled with warmth and laughter, a testament to her belief in the power of fellowship and community. Those who knew her know she had a 14 ft Christmas tree up year-round fully decorated with areas for every year and people dear to her. She had a fondness for collecting not only dolls but dishes, China and many other things that gave areas of her home a museum-like quality with every treasure having it's own story of where each item was obtained whether though friends, family, great bargains or things she just found in nature. Pat's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, service, and joy. Her memory will be treasured by all those who were fortunate enough to know her. While she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the beauty and grace that can be found in a life well-lived "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine" – we love you.
