Billy Joe Byram 1928 - 2008 A memorial service for Billy Joe Byram of Terrell was held at Smyrna Cemetery on June 21,with Jimmy Jarrett officiating. Mr. Byram died June 7, 2008, in Kaufman. He was born June 28, 1928, in Emory. A lifetime resident of Terrell, he worked in the concrete business. He is survived by a son, Joe Carl Byram of Elmo; sisters, Jean Mitchell of Alba, and Vestell Mauldin of Mesquite; mother of his son, Dell Dry of Elmo; and several step-children and nieces and nephews. Mr. Byram was preceded in death by his parents, Chuck and Myrtis Byram; wife, Leona Byram; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bill Whittle; brother-in-law, Jimmy Mauldin; and nephew, Pug Mitchell. **Billy Joe was cremated and his cremains were placed with his Mother in her final resting grave.
