Jean Mitchell (June 6, 1935 - February 20, 2016) Cremation arrangements for Jean Mitchell, age 80, are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory. Mrs. Mitchell died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, in Denison, at Texoma Medical Center. She was born June 6, 1935, in Emory, to James Lester and Myrtis Lura McLeroy Byram. She was a restaurant waitress most of her life. Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Judy Fitzgerald of Plano; and, Cindy Miller of Sulphur Springs; Grandchildren: 8 Great-grandchildren: 21 Great-great-grandchildren: 6 Special relative: Martha Loyd; Special friends: Julie Arnold and Shirley Sgroe Preceded in death by: parents; 1 son, "Pug" Mitchell; 1 brother and 1 sister
