Pauline Nanse Killion, beloved mother and friend to many, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Pauline was born in Fort Bend County, Texas on October 25, 1939. Residing in Palestine her entire adult life she dedicated everything to her children while living committed to her Christian faith. After working a 30 year career with Sprint she "retired" and worked another 20 plus years at Palestine Regional Medical Center where she found great pride in connecting and assisting families and those in times of need. She is survived by her beloved son Patrick McCracken and son in law Christian; Two brothers James and Johnny McClelland; brother in-law Mike Davis; many nieces and nephews; and life long best friend Glenda Christ. She was preceded in death by her dear daughter Dianne McCracken; husband Hiawatha Killion and late husband Dub McCracken; sister and brother in-law Rachel and Lehn Leediker and sister Mary Ellen Davis; three brothers Paul, Abe and Howard Nanse; father William Nanse and mother Bertha Thrash McClelland. A memorial service will be held at the Bailey-Foster Funeral Home Chapel in Palestine on Wednesday, February 19th at 10AM with visitation starting an hour prior.
