Bio

MRS LONA MAE SALYER, 71 died suddenly at her home Thursday morning of an apparent heart attack. She was a member of the first Baptist Church of Coeburn and a member of the Lillie Lay Circle. She was a past Noble Grand of Rebecca's Lodge. Survivors include her husband, Willie B Salyer, Coeburn three sons, Presto Salyer and James H. Salyer, both of Coeburn, and Billy C Salyer, Detroit MI, one sister Mrs Jeff (Hittie) Salyer, Nickelsville, VA, three brothers, Raleigh S Dingus. Kingsport, Wesley W. Dingus, Warren, MI,Bruce L Dingus El Paso, TX, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 am in the First Baptist Church of Coeburn. Burial will be in The Holston View Cemetery at Weber City, VA.
