She was the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Clack. Wife of Josiah P. Coffman She died at her home in the Tonk Valley community. Thanks to Searchers of Our Past for some of the above information. ==================================================================== The birth year on this memorial for Mary Clack Coffman and on the gravestone in the photo is 1813. The text from the pic of page 109 from "From Across The River ... Revisited" says "Mary was born 28 Oct 1817 in South Carolina (documented through records and by her children)." It would seem appropriate to update the birth date on this memorial to 1817 and include a note to explain it in the memorial.
