Pryor A. Legg CAMBRIDGE — Services for Pryor A. Legg Sr., 76, of Route 1, Cambridge, who died at his home Tuesday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cambridge Baptist Church by Dr. Leonard Reifel of the Weiser Community Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser, under the direction of Northam-Jones Funeral Home, Weiser. He was born April 19, 1899, at Surgoinsville, Tenn., where he was educated. In 1915 he moved to Ellensburg, Wash. He moved to Idaho in 1916 where he worked for prominent sheepmen. He married Nellie L. Walterson Dec. 20, 1920, in Rogersville, Tenn:, He worked in the sheep industry until 1934, when he moved to the Weiser Flat area. In 1938 he moved to Cambridge, where he engaged in ranching. Surviving are his wife of Cambridge; three sons, Pryor Legg of Redmond, Ore., Alvin Legg and Melbert Legg both of Cambridge; three daughters, Mrs. Weldon (Irene) Branch of Midvale, Mrs. Arlen (Carol) Smith of Salem, Ore., and Terri Cole of Ontario; two brothers, David and Willie of Rogersville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne, a grandson, Gary, two brothers, and five sisters. The family suggests memorials in his name be made to the Mountain States Tumor institute of St. Luke's Hospital, Boise. The Idaho Statesman, Wednesday, October 8, 1975 Page 2-C
