OBITUARY - DES MOINES REGISTER, JANUARY 27 1994 Jannie Black, 101, of Hillside convalescent Center, 233 University Ave., died of a heart ailment there tuesday. Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Hamilton's funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Black was born in Decatur County and lived in Des Moines 50 years, coming from Creston. She retired as a presser at Cascade Dry Cleaning and was a member of Berean Assembly of God. Surviving are two daughters, Arlena Phillips and Orba Northway, both of Des Moines; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great grandchild. Friends may call fro 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. p. 5m, c.
