Bio
Lula Elaine Parrish, 93, of Anton passed from this life on January 6, 2025. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Austin Street Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Anton Cemetery. Elaine was born June 13,1931 in Maydelle, Texas to William "Bay" and Elma Norene (Belew) Lusk. She married Glenn A. Parrish on June 12,1948 in Dallas. Elaine worked for Anton ISD for twenty-one years as the cafeteria manager. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bay and Elma Norene Lusk; husband, Glenn A. Parrish and son, Gary Parrish. Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her sons, Wayne and Randy Parrish; daughter, Jeri Deanna Parrish; nephew, Jimmy Parrish; along with six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Anton Cemetery. Services with integrity, pride, and honor are under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home.
