Edna M Rector married Elmer Lamont Grinstead. They were the parents of Wilford Lowell, Howard Kendall, Juanita Ione, Hildred Irene, and Harold Arlo Grinstead. Batavia - Mrs. Edna M. Grinstead, 77, died Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Jefferson Square Manor in Ottumwa, Lived there since January. Bon April 11, 1889, in Davis County, to Frank and Mahala Benge Rector. Resident of Batavia for past 30 years. Married Nov. 6, 1907, to Elmer Lamont Grinstead. He died July 11, 1955. Member of Batavia Independent Full Gospel Church. Survivors: one son, Howard of Nevada; two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Carver, Peoria, Ill., Mrs. Irene Miller of Batavia; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Dale Rupe of Agency. Services tentatively set for Saturday, 1 p.m. at Independent Full Gospel Church of Batavia, the Rev. Kenneth Ross officiting, assisted by the Rev. James Salvador. Burial in Floris Cemetery.
