Bio

Josephine Mary (Kozlovsky) Eisele, known as Josie by all who loved her, passed away peacefully in her home on December 20, 2024, surrounded by family. Josie was a devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was born April 14, 1943, in Mesquite, TX to Mary Kozlovsky. She graduated from Mesquite High School in 1961 and married the love of her life, Jimmy Eisele on June 2, 1962. Together they had 2 daughters and a son, Lisa Ann, Tina Ruth and Eric James. She was a devoted Catholic all her life and attended St. Phillips Catholic church in Dallas until she could no longer attend. Those who knew and loved Josie, will remember her as loving, selfless and compassionate. She loved deeply and unconditionally, especially her children and grandchildren whom she adored. She has left behind a legacy of love that will be carried on by her loved ones. She will be deeply missed but her memory will forever be cherished. Josie was preceded in death by her mother Mary Kozlovsky, cherished daughter Tina Ruth Chilcoat, her beloved grandson Dallas Austin Palmer, sisters Angie May Little and Thresa Duyka, and brother Frankie Kozlovsky. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jimmy Earl Eisele. Daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Ann and David Palmer; son and daughter-in-law, Eric James and René Eisele and son-in-law Don Chilcoat. Granddaughters, Kassey Frey and husband PJ; Meagan Strout and husband Jared; Kaitlyn Ramirez and husband Josh; Rachel Eddleman and partner Justin Meadors, Rebecca Eddleman, Jessica Eisele and partner Kyler Stovall, Lauren Adams and husband Brady and grandson Cory Eddleman and wife Cassie. Great grandchildren Kailey Palmer and Kensley Frey, Nick Strout, London and Ella Ramirez, Holden Stovall, Olivia Adams and soon to arrive, Josephine Meadors. A visitation will be held for Josie on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rowlett. *Rosary will begin at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 1:00pm in the Mausoleum Chapel at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Rowlett. A graveside service will be held immediately after.
