Bio

Ina Davis Stearns age 87, of the Slickford community of Wayne County, passed away September 12,1992. She was born March 5, 1905, the daughter of Mary Kennedy Koger and W.A. Koger, both of whom preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Stearns and one brother, Estil Koger. She was a 60 year merchant and businesses woman. Survivors include one son, Bruce Davis of Monticello; three daughters, Colleen D. Coleman of Bradenton, Florida, Joyce Hall of Orlando, Florida and Jo Nell Ramsey of Monticello; one brother, Kay Koger of Monticello and two sisters, Glenna Williams of Columbia, Kentucky and Stella M. Lee of Monticello; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held September 14,1992 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Father Patrick Stewart officiating. Marvin S Hicks Funeral Home in charge of those arrangements.
