Wayman George Willenborg, age 81, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at Ascension Seton Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. To celebrate his life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 28, 2024, at St. Martins of Tours Catholic Church in West, Texas. A burial will follow at the St. Martins of Tours Catholic Cemetery. Wayman was born June 18, 1943, in Waco, Texas. Raised by his grandmother, Anna Willenborg, Wayman spent his first six months of life at Providence hospital and was reportedly the first baby to be incubated in the state of Texas, hence his nickname, Inky. He attended St. Martins Catholic School and graduated from West High School and attended Hill College, where he earned an associate degree. Wayman was married to Anna (Stites) Willenborg for thirty-four years. He worked for Urbanosky's Propane Service as an accountant for several years after high school. Wayman farmed and raised cattle and farm animals and worked as a mail handler for thirty-one years. He loved Bush's sweet tea and puzzle books. He also loved to dance. Wayman was a wonderful man and the love of Anna's life. Preceded in death by his parents, Joe Frank and Hazel (Magee) Willenborg; brother, Joe Frank; and sister, Kay Ann; he is survived by his wife, Anna; his children, Hulon Ray and Jared Michael; his brother, Jerry; his sister, Suzette; and his grandson, Zachary Pate.
