Rosalie Nichols Neilson, 76 of Mesquite, NV passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in West Jordan, UT on May 8, 2015,. Born July 31, 1938 to George and Emma Nichols in SLC, she lived her life caring for others. Married Everett Neilson January 2, 1960 and together they raised 4 children in Sandy, UT. Those that came into her life unwittingly became her focus and given a lifetime of unconditional love and support. She served several callings in the LDS Church, Girl Scout Leader and worked several years for GMAC. She spent the last 17 years in Mesquite NV, many of which she served as President of the HOA where she lived. She was a person of focus and drive with her Christ-like principles and concern for others. She is survived by her husband, Everett Neilson, children, Michelle Kerkman (Bernell), Andra Nybo, Kyle Neilson (Amber Williams), Adriane Warr (Bret Horrocks), 6 grandchildren, and brother Weldon Nichols (Fred Beckett). Rosalie's family wishes to express their love and appreciation to Dan Bloomfield, one of her "adopted" sons for his unceasing hours of care and support these past few weeks, and also the IHC Hospice nurses who were so caring and understanding these past days. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) Visitations will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm and Thursday from 9:45-10:45 am prior to the services
