Mollie was born around 1876 in Tennessee, just like her parents. Although she was able to speak English, she was unable to write. Mollie lived with a total of ten household members, including her husband, their adult son Everette, and his wife Elma. Interestingly, Mollie and John also had three teenage sons living with them: Homer, Earl, and Lloyd. This suggests a bustling household with multiple generations under one roof.
