Bio

Danny Farquhar, 77, of Hillsboro, Texas, joined his Lord and Savior on December 24, 2023. He was born November 23, 1946 to Lois (Myers) and William Farquhar in Hillsboro where he was a lifelong resident. He is a graduate of Hillsboro High School. Danny worked in the trucking industry for Central Freight and Pilgrim's Pride in Waco, in the parts department. Danny took Cathy Basye as his beloved bride and the couple have shared thirty love filled years together. You could often find Danny spending time with his family and he enjoyed helping his nephews on their farms. He also enjoyed car racing and Nascar. Danny had a deep affection for animals, especially Rosarita, his beloved cat. He is preceded in death by his parents William (Bill) and Lois Farquhar; and siblings Olin, Kay, Betty, Sue, and William (Bill). Danny is survived by his wife Cathy Farquhar; and brother George Farquhar.
