Jacqueline "Jackie" Lee (Dill) Cook passed away peacefully September 23, 2024, at Hillcrest Cottages in Papillion, NE. Jackie was born January 15, 1936, to Clair Carter "Jack" and Violet Emelia (Swenson) Dill. Jackie graduated from College View High School in 1953 and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1957 majoring in Home Economics. Jackie met Hollis U. "Cookie" Cook in 1955 on a blind date; the couple married June 21,1957, making Lincoln their home until they moved to Papillion in 1958. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother and sister-in-law and niece. Survived by son, Alan (Betty) Cook; daughter, Dianne (Scott) Bond. Grandchildren, Edward (Gabby) Tuite, Katherine Tuite, Ashley Brooks, Christopher (April) Brooks, Ryan Cook, Brayden Bond and Caden Bond. Great-granddaughters, Meghan Tuite, Alyssa Fry, Emma Erickson, Virginia Erickson, and Paisley Reeder. Many nieces and nephews; honorary sister-in-laws, Patricia Davidson, Joyce Kunert, and Norma Wolfe. SERVICE for Jackie will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 8100 Giles Road, LaVista, NE. VISITATION 10 a.m. CELEBRATION OF LIFE 11 a.m., followed by lunch. There will be an INURNMENT at 1 p.m., at Cedar Dale Cemetery, 78th and Cedar Dale Road, Papillion, NE 68046.
