Bio
James died on February 8, 2024 after 90 years of a wonderful life. James was born on October2, 1933, in San Antonio to Elmer and Leona (Matcek) Mitchell. He graduated from the old Hot Wells High School in 1951 and from Texas A&M in 1955. Upon earning his degree from A&M, James entered the Air Force and became a pilot flying for different planes. After his military service, he worked in the real estate business specializing in investment properties.
