Marion Newton Badgley was born on 25 October 1872 in Arkansas to Alonzo M. and Martha Moore Badgley. He married Mary Bell Hawkins ca 1897 there were eight children born of their union, with two unknown: John Levington, William Floyd, Grady M., Fairie, Estelle Anis (Harvey), and Ona (Tucker). Marion N. Badgley died in on 12 Mar 1952, in Seagoville, Dallas County, Texas, and is buried in the Lee Cemetery next to his wife.
