Married to Louise Corgill July 4, 1960-September 18, 1979 Kenneth Ray Garvin, 86, of Petrolia passed away Friday, October 25, 2024. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Petrolia Cemetery with a pastor from City Hope Church officiating. Kenneth was born on August 6, 1938 in Briscoe County, Texas to the late L.B. and Verna May (Poole) Garvin. He drove trucks for many years, and was also a welder. Kenneth loved to fish on occasion, and he especially loved his cats. Most of all, his greatest joy in life was his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, and one step-sister. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Lena; daughter Rieta Starnes and husband Marty; daughter Sherry Kiser; daughter Monica Givens; Son Monte Yancey; daughter Georgina Latham; son Bo Garvin and wife Mandy; and son George Latham; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
