Andy James Rainey 66, of Cooper, Texas passed away Saturday October 26, 2024. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11a.m. Wednesday October 30, 2024, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel, Rory Wilson will officiate, interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Family will receive friends and family Tuesday October 29, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Serving as Pallbearers will be Randy Rainey, Kolton Davis, Jonathan Friddle, Jacob Rainey, Jakota Peugh, Randy Lee Rainey, Jesse Rainey, and Sam Roberts. Andy was born in Commerce, Texas on March 8, 1958, to John Doc and Mary Frances (Crumbley) Rainey. His father preceded him in death. Andy worked at Campbell Soup, Delta County Court House, and was a softball coach, (AKA) Grandpa to all the kids, loved Golf and Football, most of all loved his grandchildren. Survivors include his Mother: Mary Frances Rainey, daughter: Tasha Rainey of Como, Texas, son : Randy Rainey and wife Lacie of Pickton, Texas, daughter : Samanatha Davis and Jonathan Friddle of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and son: Kolton Davis of Sulphur Springs, Texas, eleven grandchildren : Jacob, Jakota, Jesse, Justice, Lexie, Randy Lee, Shae, Bryson, Kannon, Kohen, and Tucker, one great- grandchild : Brylin, brothers : John Rainey and wife Diana of Greenville, Texas, and Robert Rainey of Cooper, Texas.
