Chloe Savage Davis, 85, passed peacefully from this life October 3, 1995, at the home of her son. Born May 7, 1910, to Cornelius and Fanny Edelia Goulding Savage in Coyote (Antimony), Utah. Moved to Annabella, Utah at age 3 where she spent her youth, married, and raised her family. Married Elwood Franklin Davis, January 5, 1940; marriage solemnized in the Manti Temple, January 28, 1954. Widowed 1958. Active member LDS Church. Attended Snow College, BYU, and College of Southern Utah. Taught school in Sigurd, Glenwood, and Richfield. A gifted poet, she provided poems for many special occasions.Survived by three children: son, John Elwood Davis (Dixie), West Valley City; daughters, Fanny Pat (Frank) Manning, Lincoln, Montana; Doneal (Warren) Williams, Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren; seven (soon to be nine) great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence Savage, Annabella. Preceded in death by husband, sister Clara Hilda (Elton) Roberts, and a still-born son. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7, 1995, 10 a.m., at the Valleyview LDS Ward, 5180 West 4700 So., where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Graveside services and interment in the Annabella City Cemetery, 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 1995. Under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
