Sousek, 96 of Prague, NE entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Butler County Health Center in David City, NE. He was born November 17, 1927 in Prague, NE to Frank J. and Anna (Vanek) Sousek. Frank was a lifelong farmer in the Prague area. He was united in marriage to Angela E. Ostry on April 26, 1950 at St. John the Baptist Church. He was a member of St. John's Cemetery board for over 50 years, Chester Townships board for over 30 years, Saunders County Coop board, Farmers Coop Elevator board, St. John's Church building committee, lector and trustee, FCSLA and Knights of Columbus. Frank is survived by his children, Patricia and Dennis Fujan of Prague, Fred and Sharon Sousek of Westminster, CO, David and Carol Sousek of Prague, Mary Ann and Robert Paseka of Prague, Carl and Susan Sousek of Prague; sister, Beatrice Rezac of Valparaiso; sister-in-law, Joyce Sousek of Prague; sisters-in-law, Marie Havlovic, Edith Sousek and Mary Ann Ostry; brothers-in-law, Leonard Snitily and Herman Ostry; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Rebecca Shaw, Erin and Scott Atkins, Lisa Sousek, Sarah and Josh Mitchell, Heather and Joey Bullock, Carrie and Matt Senderhauf, Amanda Malina, Melissa and Rick Schneider, Matt and Dana Sousek, Luke and Kassidi Sousek, Adam and Kaela Paseka, Brent and Suzanne Paseka, Nick and Linsey Sousek, Jessica and Sam Creal and Kara and Vinny Lombardo; great grandchildren, Riley and Kirsten Shaw, Myles and Easton Atkins, Ariah and Dacia Mitchell, Carter, Wyatt and Sawyer Malina, Kaitlyn, Noah and Brayden Schneider, Brock, Bristol, Brennen and Bruin Sousek, Preston and Ashtyn Paseka, Barrett Paseka, Brecken Sousek, Benjamin, Angela and Jason Creal and another great grandchild due in February.
