Emmons OBITUARY: Provided by Linda Mullen Fairfild Recorder; Jan. 20, 1888 DIED—Mrs. Emmons, mother of the Emmons brothers, living a few miles east of town, died last Saturday night. The deceased was quite old, and was a good Christian lady. She died at the residence of her son, Mr. J.L. Emmons, with whom she was living. Her remains were interred in Mt. Zion cemetery last Sunday.
