Bio
Margie Ann Stancik, 67, of Columbus, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2024 in Columbus, Texas. She was born on March 25, 1957 to Gus Polasek and Agnes (Dirba) Polasek in La Grange, TX. On January 5, 1974 she married Arthur "Ray" Stancik. Margie worked as General Manager for Toepperwein's of Texas for many years, then later at Wal-Mart in Columbus. She was a member of the St. Anthony's Altar Society and a former member of St. Anthony's Catholic Daughter's Court Mary Queen of the Snows #1588. Margie enjoyed visiting Louisiana, going crabbing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She never missed one of their sporting events or activities! Margie is survived by her husband Arthur "Ray" Stancik; daughter, Lisa Noska, and husband Mark of Hallettsville, Texas; sons Joey Stancik, and wife Amy of Frelsburg, Texas; Bradley Stancik, and wife Jamie of Cypress, Texas; John Stancik, and wife Sarah of Port Lavaca, Texas; sister Diane Grafe, and husband Tony of Columbus, Texas; brothers Daniel Polasek of Buda, Texas; Henry Polasek, and wife MaryLy of Columbus, Texas; Frankie Polasek, and wife Debbie of Ellinger, Texas; grandchildren Brandon, Blake, Alayne, Bryce, Addisyn, Weston, Brianna, Haley and Ty; and granddog Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Robert Polasek, Bennie Polasek, Gus Polasek, Johnny Polasek, and two infant brothers. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus, Texas. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus, Texas. Fr. James Dvorak will be officiating. A private family burial will take place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers are her nine grandchildren.
