Mary Lou and Bill were married for 55 years and had nine children. Mary Lou had a passion for gardening, particularly flowers. She also enjoyed caring for pets and feeding birds. Mary Lou loved spending time with her large family and there was rarely a time when a puzzle or card game wasn't in progress when you stopped in for a visit. Mary Lou took great joy in hosting a 4th of July celebration each year. She valued the opportunity to watch her grandchildren grow and was pleased to see her great-grandchildren as well, eventually becoming a great-great-grandmother. Mary Lou will be greatly missed by her eight children- Mike Doblar (Mary Bauer) of Madison, Patty (David) Foley of Madison, Teresa Stitz of Madison, Steve Doblar of Blair, NE, Betsy Shoemaker of Sioux Falls, Pam (Joel) Skinner of Glenville, MN, Peggy (Lonny) Corbin of Madison and Bill (Tessie) Doblar of George West, TX; 32 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Christopher of Colorado Springs, CO and brother, Lawrence Peck of Grand Forks, ND.
