Bio
Lequita Yvonne Lowell, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed from this life on September 16, 2024, at the age of 76. She was born on November 27,1947, in Norman, Oklahoma to Walter Roy & Lola Pearl (Madole) Robbins. Yvonne graduated from Norman High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1965. She loved going camping with her husband, Rex. They had a travel trailer and enjoyed traveling all over to different campsites. In addition, Yvonne enjoyed going to the Kentucky Derby as well as going to the casinos. Yvonne was a very hard worker, and worked right by Rex's side making signs, banners, name badges, etc. She also kept the square dancing shop running smoothly. They travelled all over the country to square-dancing conventions, selling square-dance attire. The couple also enjoyed square-dancing themselves. Yvonne and Rex enjoyed going out to eat, and especially enjoyed the catfish and sweet potato fries at the Grand Casino. They also enjoyed a good steak out. Yvonne was close to her sisters, Kay and Elaine. Her first love was spending time with her husband, Rex. She was a kindhearted, loving, caring, and beautiful lady with a heart of gold who would give the shirt off her back if needed. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Lola Robbins; maternal grandparents, Ezra Layte & Nettie Pearl Madole; paternal grandparents, Walter Henry & Josie Priscilla Robbins; 2 brothers, Gary Wayne Robbins and Blaine Dale Robbins; brother-in-law, Thomas Shobert; and her beloved husband of 27 years, Rex Dean Lowell.
