Visitation for Allen D. Korth, 83, of Meadow Grove, will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 5-7PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, Battle Creek, NE. A celebration of life lunch will be served on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, Battle Creek, NE. Graveside services will follow at the family's Antelope County Farm with Rev. Joseph Leech officiating. Allen Dwain Korth died Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Arbor Care Centers in Neligh, NE. Allen was born on April 5, 1941, in Pierce, NE, to Raymond and Alice (Ebberson) Korth. He attended District 18 for his primary education and later graduated from Pierce High School. He then attended Norfolk Junior College for one year where he lettered in football. Allen married Lucille I. Klein on August 1, 1963, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Rural Battle Creek. After marriage the couple lived northeast of Pierce for five years, then moved to the Klein family farm southwest of Battle Creek where they resided for the rest of their lives. Allen was a hard-working farmer, with a major part of the operation including running a dairy for 30 years. For a few years he enjoyed working with wood, and even built their kitchen cabinets. Allen had a true-life partner in his wife, Lucille. Together they raised two sons, worked side-by-side on the farm, raised a large garden every year, and enjoyed their membership at St. John's Lutheran Church, Battle Creek. Allen is survived by his son Chad (Tara) Korth of Meadow Grove, NE, and their children Tristan, Cameron, Gavin, and Ali Korth; son Jay (Catherine) Korth of Jackson, TN, and their children Kyle, Elena, and Carlie; siblings Dennis (Gale) Korth of Appleton, WI; Ronald (Delora) Korth of Elkhorn, NE; sister-in-law Bette Korth of Norfolk, NE; sister-in-law Lois (Joel) Rucks; sister-in-law Marilyn (Larry) Lindner Bombeck; and brother in-law Leland Klein; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his wife Lucille Korth, parents Raymond and Alice Korth, twin brother Myron, two baby siblings, Alice P. Korth and a baby boy, sisters-in-law Evelyn Pavel and Sharon Klein, and brothers-in-law Stan Lindner and Ray Pavel.
