Bio
Phyllis S. Chisholm, age 90, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. She was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on April 24, 1933. She attended the University of Nebraska where she obtained her degree in nursing. She also attended the University of South Florida and obtained her Masters in Sociology. She worked alongside her husband in his ophthalmology practice until his retirement in 2001. She enjoyed social memberships with the St. Andrew's Society of Tampa Bay, The Krewe of Venus and the Jaguar Club. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leslie Lee Chisholm, Jr., MD; her sister, Carole Seger Breault; her father, Harold Seger; and her mother, Margaret Eileen Frohardt. She is survived by her brother, Harold Eugene Seger of Puyallup, Washington; her sons, Leslie, III, (Carla), Douglas (Beverly) and Philip; and five grandchildren, Leslie Lee, IV, Robin, Emerson, Ella and Avery.
