HAROLD (HAP) SEGER RITES HELD SATURDAY IN O'NEILL -------- Funeral services for Harold (Hap) Seger, 54, O'Neill, who died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, were held May 21st at the Methodist Church. Rev. Melvin Cammack officiated. Burial was in the Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mr. Seger's parents were the late Gustav and Millie Etta Banks Seger, who lived on a farm northeast of Atkinson. Hap was born June 6, 1911 and died May 18, 1966 while fishing with his son-in-law, Ed Davis, of an apparent heart attack. He was married to Eileen Forhardt on August 1, 1932 at Salem, South Dakota. Mr. Seger was a bulk oil dealer in O'Neill. Survivors include the widow; daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Phyllis June) Chisholm, Tampa, Florida and Mrs. Ed (Glenda Carol) Davis of O'Neill; one son, Harold Eugene of Puyallup, Washington; one brother, D. E. (Bud) Seger of O'Neill and four sisters, Mrs. Rex Beckwith of Emmet; Mrs. Vernon Keeney of Norfolk; Mrs. Ralph Beckwith of O'Neill and Mrs. Vern Beckwith of Columbus.
