Mary Louise Pitts, 81, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Mary Louise was born Feb. 8, 1927, in St. Clair County, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C.; brothers, Jimmy Brooks and C.A. Brooks Jr.; and a sister, Betty Jo Horton. Survivors: Sons, James Pitts and wife, Rosemary, and Billy Pitts; daughters, Patricia Uselton and husband, Don, Nancy O'Donley and husband, Johnny; sisters, Catherine Russell, Ima Jean Gutierrez and husband, Rigoberto; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
