Lorene K. DeLaune Mrs. Lorene Kirkpatrick DeLaune, 64, of Haughton, died Monday, Feb 25. 1985, at Highland Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Born in Emerson, Ark., Mrs. DeLaune had lived in Shreveport for 40 years. A housewife, she was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Doyline and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary' Koran V.F W post. Services were Feb. 27 at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. William O'Hanlon, pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, officiated. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. DeLaune was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. DeLaune, Jr., and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kirkpatrick. She is survived by three sons, Henry J. DeLaune III of Shreveport, Burton Anthony DeLaune of Austin, Texas and Patrick Weldon DeLaune of Shreveport; three daughters, Leah Jean DeLaune-Day of Shreveport, Cecile DeLaune Hughes of Escondido, Calif. and Maura Lee DeLaune of Shreveport; six grandchildren; one brother, Charles Kirkpatrick of Harvey, La.; and three sisters, Dorothy Sisco of Shreveport, Marie Dean of Waldo, Ark., and Maggie Mae Norton of Garrison, Texas.
