Charles Thomas Kirkpatrick Sr., 78, a native of Magnolia, Ark., and resident of Schriever, died Sunday, May 5, 2013. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time today at Mulberry Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at the church. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Rae Higdon Kirkpatrick; children, Peggy Lockhart and husband, Robert, Kathy Galloway and husband, Joey, Tommy Kirkpatrick and wife, Jenny, Dianne Kirkpatrick and Teresa Scivicque and husband, Eric; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Kirkpatrick and Mattie Kirk Weldon Kirkpatrick; granddaughter, Ashley Marie Scivicque; and siblings, Maggie Mae Norton, Marie Dean, Gladney Kirkpatrick, Lorene DeLaune, Dorothy Sisco, Donald Kirkpatrick and Edgar Kirkpatrick. He was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Immanuel Christian School, 901 Fig Street, Morgan City, La. 70380 or Convenant Christian Academy, 4863 West Park Ave., Houma, La. 70360.
