Son of Hollis Merkerson Ponder and Lola Mae McLain; died after injuries in a pedestrian/truck accident. Mr. Ponder died at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the University Hospital in Nashville, Tenn., from injuries incurred in a pedestrian - pickup truck accident that occured at 8 p.m Friday, April 24, in Hopkinsville, Ky. Among the suriviors are his mother, Mrs. E. S. (Lola) Ponder Attlesey of Sulphur Springs; a sister, Mrs. Norvell Webb of Houston; and a brother, DeWitt Ponder of Idaho Married 1) Sharron Gayle Griffis 09 April 1960 in Hunt County, Texas Married 2) Clara M. by 1965
